The Rogue Element Green Design Grant
We at Rogue Element are committed to sustainability, environmental issues, and corporate citizenship. So we thought to ourselves, "how can we use our skills to help promote these ideals?" Our brainstorm can be your gain. One lucky winner will get a year's worth of design services for free. Your organization must be focused on the preservation and betterment of the natural world, whether it's through developing renewable energy sources, or selling earth-friendly products.
The 2010 grant is now open. Applications will be done via a two-step process:
Initially a contest will run on the Justmeans website at http://www.justmeans.com/take-action/rogue2010greengrant. Entrants must answer the four questions below under "Submit Your Answers." The Justmeans community will vote to contribute to selecting three finalists by 5:00 pm CST on Monday, November 9, 2009.
Finalists will be notified Tuesday, November 10, 2009. They will have until 5:00 pm CST on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 to provide Rogue Element with answers to additional questions (available here if you'd like a preview) and to submit their current marketing plan. While you do not need to supply any additional supporting documents beyond our questions and your marketing plan in order to have your application considered for the Grant, existing documents such as branding materials, magazines, brochures, or any other items currently in use by your organization can be sent to Rogue Element.
All three finalists will be interviewed by phone the week of November 30th.
The winner will be notified on Monday, December 14, 2009.
The Grant will begin on Monday, January 4, 2010, ending on Tuesday, January 4, 2011.
More nitty-gritty about how the grant will work, plus the additional questions, are available here.
Good luck!
